Lancaster County’s most unique winter wonderland is now open for the Christmas season.

Lancaster, United States - November 20, 2019 /MarketersMedia/ —
Returning for a second year, Refreshing Mountain Retreat and Adventure Center invites guests to enjoy its Christmas Village. Visitors will fly through Chrismas light-adorned zip lines, stroll through a Christmas light display around property, enjoy campfires and free hot chocolate, and more.
“We opened our Christmas Village in 2018 and it was enjoyed by so many families and friends,” said Justin Harnish, Director at Refreshing Mountain. “This year, we’ve added even more lights and now have over 4 miles of Christmas lights around our sprawling property,” he added.
Beginning Friday, November 22, the Christmas Village at Refreshing Mountain is open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings starting at 4:30 pm. Tour slots run every 30 minutes and advanced reservations are highly recommended, as most nights in 2018 sold out.
Guests will pay $39 per person and can choose from two unique experiences, including zip lines, elevated obstacles, high ropes, giant swing, and more.
“There’s something so serene about flying through the winter night sky as our course is decorated with hundreds of thousands of Christmas lights,” says Harnish. “And don’t be surprised if a Christmas carol sing breaks out around a campfire as you enjoy your hot chocolate,” he says. “It really is a special time for friends, family, and groups of all kinds to enjoy each other’s company and make wonderful memories,” he adds.
Guests who want to extend their Christmas Village experience can stay in one of Refreshing Mountain’s beautiful, heated, fully-appointed cabins. Visit refreshingmountain.com for more information and pricing.
“At Refreshing Mountain, Christmas is a time to spend in the presence of family and friends,” says Harnish. “Our Christmas Village experience is an opportunity for others to be together during this special time of year.”
