World Weavers Announces The Angkor Convergence, a Global Gathering for Changemakers in Cambodia

The Angkor Convergence, hosted in Cambodia in January 2027, will bring together global changemakers for a seven-day gathering focused on personal restoration, collaboration, and practical action. The event will combine spiritual and wellness experiences with strategic dialogue, networking, and grassroots collaboration.
Siem Reap, Cambodia, September 24, 2026 -- A small change can have a ripple effect globally, and this is known as the 3.5% rule. This shows that just a small minority of those who believe in change can make it happen, and global gatherings can facilitate this transformation.
World Weavers has joined up with Unity Earth to put on The Angkor Convergence, which is a seven-day international gathering. This conference will be held January 3-10, 2027, at Angkor Grace Wellness Resort in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
It's designed for bridge builders, peacebuilders, social entrepreneurs, spiritual leaders, artists, philanthropists, and changemakers who truly believe in lasting transformation. This gathering brings together people who are interested in combining personal restoration with collaboration and practical action. It coincides with the 10th anniversary of the global 7 Days of Rest initiative, which is centered on reflection, healing, reconciliation, and renewal.
The first of its two phases (Yin) will happen between January 3-6, and it'll focus on restoration and deep renewal. It includes temple pilgrimages, sound healing journeys, contemplative practices, group coherence and relational experiences, reflective dialogue and meaningful connection, wellness experiences, and immersion in the sacred waters of Cambodia.
The second phase (Yang) will happen between January 7-10 with a focus on activation, collaboration, and strategic vision. Participants will engage in strategic dialogue and alliance-building, breakout sessions, collaborative working groups, cross-sector networking, movement coordination, visioning processes for 2027 and beyond, and practical initiatives supporting global grassroots collaboration.
The central theme for this gathering is water, which pays respects and acknowledges the importance of water in the ancient Khmer civilization. The event will use the region's relationship with water as a framework for the different subjects explored over the seven days here. Another major theme of the Angkor Convergence is ancient fire, which will complement the practical focus on clarity, courage, and collective imagination.
Some of the international voices that will speak at this conference include Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati, Charles Vogl, and Kristin Hoffmann. There will also be spiritual teachers, social entrepreneurs, artists, facilitators, youth leaders, bridge-builders, and movement pioneers.
