Nov 6, 2026

Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China, November 6, 2026 -- ToneWinner, a long-established Chinese audio manufacturer known for its professional cinema and karaoke amplifiers, has introduced the AT-600, the flagship of its decoder series and the company's most ambitious home-cinema processor to date. The AT-600 delivers 8K video pass-through, 16-channel immersive decoding, and — most notably — a complete Dirac Live license included at no additional cost, making professional-grade room correction accessible to a far wider audience.

The ToneWinner AT-600 8K AV processor

A Decoder Series for Every Home Cinema

The ToneWinner AT-600 is the culmination of a decoder lineup engineered to serve the full spectrum of home entertainment, from professional cinema and karaoke systems to flagship private theaters. The series has evolved steadily with industry standards, and today spans four models:

  • AT-200: 7.2.4 decoding, 4K/60Hz, HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2, ARC, HDR10, with karaoke support.
  • AT-300: 9.3.4 decoding, 4K/60Hz, HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2, eARC, HDR10.
  • AT-500: fully balanced 7.1.6/9.1.4 (unbalanced up to 7.3.6/9.3.4), 8K/60Hz, HDMI 2.1, HDCP 2.3, eARC, HDR10+.
  • AT-600: fully balanced 7.1.6/9.1.4 (unbalanced up to 7.3.6/9.3.4), 8K/60Hz, HDMI 2.1, HDCP 2.3, eARC, HDR10+, and full Dirac Live calibration.

Across the entire series, the AT-600 stands out with six defining advances.

Six Defining Features

1.Dual acoustic calibration systems. The AT-600 pairs ToneWinner's proprietary ETQ audio measurement system with Dirac Live's patented Room Correction, Bass Control, and Active Room Treatment (ART). ToneWinner has fully settled the Dirac patent licensing fees, so AT-600 owners enjoy lifetime, no-cost access to these premium calibration tools.

2.A major DAC upgrade. Four ESS ES9081 next-generation high-performance eight-channel chips drive the audio stage. The AT-600 supports 768 kHz sampling and DSD1024, handling high-specification lossless audio with ease. Working in concert, the four ES9081 chips deliver an exceptionally high signal-to-noise ratio and finely detailed restoration across all 16 channels.

3.Sixteen RCA outputs. With Dolby Atmos and DTS:X dual decoding and full backward compatibility with all Dolby and DTS formats, the AT-600 processes 16 channels independently, extends to height channels, and adds subwoofers for a maximum 9.3.4 or 7.3.6 layout.

4.Fourteen XLR balanced outputs. Fully balanced transmission resists interference, while three independent subwoofer outputs can be expanded in parallel to drive up to six subwoofers.

5.Lossless transmission and ultra-high-definition picture. The AT-600 offers 8K video output at 8K/60Hz, pass-through for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG full-format HDR, plus eARC audio return and HDCP 2.3.

6.Human-centric design. An overlay OSD menu, dual 2.8-inch displays, and a mobile app with visualized EQ adjustment make setup and tuning intuitive.

Key Specifications

  • Signal-to-noise ratio: ≥110 dB (A-weighted, 1 kHz/1 Vrms, analog input, pure mode)
  • Total harmonic distortion: ≤0.003% (A-weighted, pure mode, 1 kHz/1 Vrms, analog input)
  • Frequency response: 10 Hz–65 kHz (+1/−3 dB, analog input, pure mode)
  • Output level: 3 Vrms ±1 dB (THD 1%, analog input, analog pure)
  • Channel separation: ≥90 dB (analog input, analog pure)
  • Maximum power consumption: 30 W
  • Net weight: 4.4 kg

What's New

Compared with its predecessors, the AT-600 adds native 8K video support and HDMI 6-in/2-out connectivity with HDMI 2.1; full Dirac room calibration; and 16-channel decoding with subwoofer expansion.

Market Positioning

The Tonewinner AT-600 is aimed at the mid-to-high-end market, offering a high-value decoder for enthusiasts who want multi-channel, multi-subwoofer capability; Dirac room calibration with no additional licensing fees; lossless 8K video; and a dedicated preamplifier-and-power-amplifier cinema system. Target customers include homeowners building premium home theaters, audio wholesale distributors, and custom installers.

Why Democratic Congress may enhance US-Philippines alliance, pivot to Asia

The Democratic Party’s sweep of both houses of the US Congress could stabilise Washington’s commitment to the Philippines, bringing relief to allies rattled by President Donald Trump’s Iran war and his shifting foreign policy. Analysts expect bipartisan support for Manila to endure, with Democratic oversight set to rein in Trump’s unpredictability. But they warn that Washington could still turn inward to deal with domestic challenges, diverting attention from the Indo-Pacific. The rebuke of...

EU’s Southeast Asia push hits funding crunch as China widens lead

An EU funding crunch is threatening to stifle the bloc’s ambitions to expand its influence in Southeast Asia, as Brussels grapples with a budget deadlock that could slow infrastructure investments across the fast-growing region. The funding squeeze could hinder the green transition and regional connectivity goals of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, even as Brussels seeks greater strategic autonomy amid competition with Beijing’s economic clout. Analysts expect the European Union to...

Does the Democratic midterm victory spell the end of US AI data centre boom?

The sweeping midterm election victory by US Democrats has triggered warnings from analysts that an impending regulatory clampdown could derail the nation’s multi-trillion-dollar artificial intelligence data centre buildout. Wall Street forecasters slashed their projections for Big Tech infrastructure spending hours after the vote, cautioning that a wave of proposed project moratoria and tighter oversight could stall up to 30 per cent of planned US facilities and force developers to downscale...

Malaysia’s Najib begins house arrest as Umno pays US$12.3 million fine

Malaysia’s disgraced former prime minister Najib Razak left prison for house arrest after Umno on Friday paid a 50 million ringgit (US$12.3 million) fine required under the terms of his royal pardon. The clemency granted by King Sultan Ibrahim in September allows Najib to serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest until August 2028, after more than four years behind bars for corruption linked to the 1MDB sovereign wealth fund. His exit from prison may renew scrutiny of Prime Minister...

Growing Vietnam ties test Japan’s commitment to rules-based regional order

Japan’s growing strategic partnership with Vietnam is putting Tokyo’s commitment to a rules-based regional order under scrutiny, as Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi faces calls to press Hanoi over its failure to honour labour rights commitments. The issue is expected to surface during Vietnamese President To Lam’s four-day visit to Tokyo from Sunday, raising questions about how far Japan is prepared to defend the principles underpinning a major Pacific trade agreement when its economic and security...

These are among the unlikely locations listed for infrastructure projects in the Philippines’ proposed 2027 national budget, according to independent watchdogs that have discovered the discrepancies, highlighting problems with government transparency and accountability. Their scrutiny of Manila’s proposed 7.2 trillion pesos (US$114 billion)...

To his parents, he was a responsible son whom they trusted to help care for Baoying while they worked long hours. Years later, he would be sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering her. “We never imagined that things could become so serious,” their father said after Bocan, 34, was sentenced on...
