Johnson City, TN, United States - October 1, 2020 /FundedToday/ —

The Great American Waffle Iron has just launched on Indiegogo. They have brought on Funded Today to help bring their product to a wider audience and increase pledges for the duration of the campaign.

About The Great American Waffle Iron

The Great American Waffle Iron is the iconic cast iron waffle maker featuring a patriotic design. This multi-generational cook piece pays homage to the 100+ year old waffle makers still in use around the country. It has a patriotic eagle on the exterior and a unique star pattern on the interior.

This waffle iron is slightly thicker than other antique examples for a reason. When cooking a waffle, you need to get heat into the batter quickly. With plenty of stored heat in the cast iron paddles, it cooks evenly, and quickly. With an extra pound in each paddle, it outperforms other antique examples hands-down.

The Great American Waffle Iron has the classic ball and socket joint. This makes flipping the paddles easy, as well as fun. This prototype was cast in a small batch foundry using a coarse sand. The production foundry uses a finer sand mix and assures us a superb level of fit and finish.

Pricing and Availability

The Great American Waffle Iron is available to back now on Indiegogo. They are hopeful to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the products are set to produce and ship to all backers by November 2020. The starting price for one Great American Waffle Iron is $125 USD.
