January 03, 2023 - /PressAdvantage/ - SnowPak is proud to introduce ski lessons to its ski vacation packages product. This is made possible by direct partnerships with major ski resorts both domestically and internationally. Major partnerships include Vail Resorts which operate 41 ski resorts worldwide, Mont Tremblant in Canada and Hakuba ski resorts in Japan.
“Customers have asked for ski lessons to be built into our online booking platform for the longest time. There were issues with product integration especially at major ski resorts like Breckenridge, Vail and Beaver Creek but thankfully it was resolved before the winter season hit” said Jack Lee, Communications Director for SnowPak.
This new product integration lets destination skiers bundle ski lessons as part of a ski vacation package offered by SnowPak. This lets mountain travel specialists affiliated with SnowPak to distribute and package ski lessons with other ski travel products such as accommodation, ski gear and transport services. This is compatible with the deals offered by ski pass programs run by the ski resort such as the Vail Resorts EPIC pass program.
This is the first ski season with no ski capacity restrictions enforced by ski resorts since the pandemic. Ski lessons as a service were extremely limited in the past two years due to issues with mountain operations. The introduction of ski lessons is a sign that winter travel and activities are back in demand.
“The snow travel industry has been greatly impacted in the last two years. That said, things are picking up this ski season with a lot of returning guests inquiring about ski packages. Destination skiing is back as a winter vacation option,” said Mark Liang, Chief Product Officer at SnowPak. “From our data, it looks like ski resorts with renowned ski schools have an edge over the other ski resort destinations. Vail Resorts in particular are doing a good job of promoting lessons as a service. Heavenly Ski Resort is a great example of this.”
SnowPak is one of the biggest ski tour operators in North America specializing in curated ski vacations in Colorado. SnowPak’s goal is to make destination ski vacations accessible to new skiers.

As heatwaves become more frequent and intense across Asia, the region faces a dangerous power paradox. Soaring demand for air conditioning threatens to push electricity grids closer to failure just as extreme heat puts the infrastructure under greater strain, raising the risk of cooling disappearing when people need it most. That risk has been visible across the region this summer. In South Korea, President Lee Jae Myung called a record heatwave a “national disaster” in August after the death...
Malaysia’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim caused a bit of a stir in India recently with his spirited rendition of a Bollywood classic – a lighthearted moment that also neatly captured his broader push to deepen ties with the South Asian giant. A video of Anwar singing, from memory, Kishore Kumar’s 1965 hit ballad “Khwab Ho Tum Ya Koi Haqeeqat” (“Are you a dream or are you reality?”) was first posted to his social media accounts last Sunday before quickly being picked up by Indian news outlets. The...
When Jordan Seow joined OpenAI in June 2025, he became the company’s first locally hired forward-deployed engineer in Asia-Pacific, joining a Singapore office that then had fewer than 20 employees. The 29-year-old is now part of a fast-growing workforce built in Singapore by the world’s leading artificial intelligence companies. Experts say the city state is emerging as a regional hub – not for training the latest AI models, but for the increasingly crucial task of deploying and adapting them...
A former Australian official’s use of a hypothetical “aggressive Indonesia” to make the case for Aukus at a public inquiry has been called “clumsy diplomacy” by analysts, who say the comments risk reviving old suspicions as Jakarta and Canberra try to strengthen security ties. Michael Pezzullo, a former deputy secretary of strategy in Australia’s defence department, made the remarks in testimony on September 2 to the Aukus Public Inquiry, an independent, crowdfunded review of the trilateral...
The U.S. president’s threats to seize Greenland left its people on edge, and with details scarce, the news of an agreement didn’t seem to be putting minds at ease.

Chinese action camera maker Insta360 is deepening its US footprint with a flagship store opening in New York as it navigates escalating price competition with DJI and industry-wide memory cost pressures. The Chinese GoPro rival was slated to plant its flag in the heart of Times Square with its first flagship retail store in the US on Saturday, a marquee launch as the firm looked to “leap to the next stage of growth”, co-founder Max Richter said. “The US market plays a very important role for us...
For years, the race to build ever more powerful artificial intelligence followed a well-worn Silicon Valley principle: move fast and break things. But in a series of cascading events over a 10-day stretch, the largest AI labs found themselves reeling as their own creations threatened to break humanity itself. An Anthropic researcher quit the firm, warning that the pace of AI development poses an existential threat, possibly within a decade. Another researcher at the firm said the odds of human...
A senior ally of Malaysia’s Anwar Ibrahim announced his resignation from cabinet on Saturday – a day after confidence in the prime minister’s administration took a severe hit when disgraced former leader Najib Razak was allowed to serve out his jail term under house arrest. Anthony Loke, the secretary general of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), said that the party could not accept the decision to allow Najib to complete his sentence in the comfort of his own home. The former prime minister is...
The director and writer Simon Stone updated the classic work to reflect the world we live in with this Korean-language adaptation at the Park Avenue Armory.
Years ago, I watched a focus group explain itself into a contradiction. We asked people what mattered when choosing car insurance. Price won. The deductible came next. Reputation did not appear. During coffee, I asked the interviewer to change the question. How much cheaper would a less prestigious insurer have to be before they switched? One participant, who 15 minutes earlier ranked price first, said no discount was large enough. Nothing changed except how we asked the question. Something...
