RS1 Founder’s Edition Putter Performance & Availability: Product Review Released

Oct 7, 2026

Fairway Tips and News has released a review on the new RS1 Founder’s Edition, a limited-edition version of the RS1 series putters.

Pleasant Prairie, United States, October 7, 2026 /PressCable/ -- Fairway Tips and News has released a guide on the RS1 Founder’s Edition, a limited-edition version of the RS1 series putters that has specs distinct from the Standard and Plus putters. The product review covers engineering specific to the Founder’s Edition, scarcity, market value, and how to verify the authenticity of products purchased from the secondhand market.

Like other models in the RS1 line, the Founder’s Edition sports a 360-gram head weight, Forward Axis Weighting geometry, and a 74-degree lie angle, giving it a face-squaring performance identical to the Standard and Plus versions. While the core engineering remains the same, Fairway Tips and News’ latest guide says that the Founder’s Edition is made from higher-end materials that can improve its utility compared to other models in the series. One example is the CNC-machined 303 stainless steel face, which is an upgrade over the stainless steel used in the Standard and Plus versions: because the alloy has a distinct molecular density, its face compresses against the ball differently, which the resource says can produce a warmer feel than the Standard model.

Additionally, instead of the RS1 Standard’s steel shaft or the RS1 Plus’ 15 mm low-torque shaft, the Founder’s Edition uses a custom graphite shaft that has been engineered to soften initial contact and reduce vibration transmission through the material.

Combined with the carbon composite crown, which directs weight distribution towards the forward-weighted face and the aluminum T-wing tail while keeping the crown light, the Founder’s Edition allows golfers to take full advantage of the RS1 series’ unconventional approach to stroke correction.

With only 500 units ever produced, the RS1 Founder’s Edition has limited retail availability, which Fairway Tips and News says is a factor that golfers may also have to consider if they are interested in purchasing the putter. The resource notes that each unit comes with a unique certificate of authenticity (COA), and consumers who intend to purchase from the secondhand market are advised to look for listings with clear pictures of this document, as well as the unit’s identifying number.

The putter itself should also display a uniform premium black finish; any wear should be questioned, especially if it’s inconsistent with the unit’s listed age or condition.

Can ‘neutral’ Malaysia stay above the fray in the US-China tech rivalry?

Despite Malaysia’s insistence that its long-standing non-alignment policy extends to cyberspace, analysts say the country’s reliance on American and Chinese technology could make such a stance difficult to sustain amid the rivalry between the two superpowers. Defence Minister Mohamed Khaled Nordin said on Monday that Malaysia would “always remain neutral” in cyberspace, arguing that cyber threats could come from non-state actors and should not be viewed solely through the lens of geopolitical...
