New sponsorship gives REIWA members access to pre-sale funding for property improvements, styling, marketing and deposit advances

Perth, Australia (PRUnderground) October 29th, 2026

Property.Credit has joined REIWA as an Event Sponsor, giving REIWA members access to funding options designed to help sellers prepare their property for sale.

Property.Credit provides funding for pre-sale improvements, styling, marketing and deposit advances, with funded amounts recovered at settlement rather than paid upfront by the seller.

Property.Credit co-founder and CEO Giordano Stepancic said the business was established to give sellers greater flexibility during the sales process.

The idea began with a referral from a seller named Ken, whose wife had been diagnosed with dementia. Property.Credit funded a caravan so the couple could take a planned trip while their home was being sold.

"That was the moment the business really started," Mr Stepancic said.

"We kept asking ourselves why there wasn't a solution that gave sellers more flexibility while selling their home. That question became the company and continues to shape how we work with sellers and agencies today."

The sponsorship comes following strong growth in Perth's property market. Perth's median house sale price increased 18.7 per cent in the 12 months to June 2026.

Mr Stepancic said Property.Credit was looking forward to working more closely with REIWA members in Western Australia.

"Western Australia is a market we have been interested in for a long time," he said.

"Partnering with REIWA gives us an opportunity to work more closely with member agencies and support their clients through the sales process."

REIWA CEO Blaine Slater said the sponsorship would provide members with another option to support sellers preparing their properties for market.

"Our members are always looking for practical ways to help their clients achieve the best possible result," Mr Slater said.

"Property.Credit gives sellers another option to fund the preparation and marketing of their property without an upfront payment.

"We are pleased to welcome Property.Credit as an Event Sponsor.

How it works

Through the sponsorship, REIWA members can offer their clients Property.Credit funding for:

  • - pre-sale renovations and repairs

  • - home styling and presentation

  • - marketing and advertising campaigns

  • - deposit advances

  • - equity release of up to 80 per cent of a property's equity before settlement.

The funded amount is recovered from the proceeds of the sale at settlement.

As part of the sponsorship, Mr Stepancic will spend more time in Western Australia working with REIWA member agencies.

Can Lula’s re-election unlock Mercosur markets for Southeast Asia?

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva’s re-election should provide continuity for the country’s trade push into Southeast Asia, analysts say, as Vietnam and Indonesia pursue preferential trade agreements with Mercosur, the South American bloc in which Brazil is the largest economy. But better access to Brazil and other Mercosur markets is far from assured, with trade experts pointing to difficult negotiations over tariffs and agricultural access, as well as political differences within...

Why Japan is pushing for a more ‘proactive’ Southeast Asia amid great-power rivalry

Japan wants a more united and proactive Southeast Asia as it sees Asean as a bulwark against an intensifying great-power rivalry, analysts say, while uncertainty over Washington’s long-term Indo-Pacific strategy has deepened Tokyo’s concerns about the region’s future. Japanese Defence Minister Shinjiro Koizumi on Wednesday urged Southeast Asian nations to strengthen their collective response to emerging security threats, warning of a “rapidly deteriorating” security environment and shifts in the...

Thailand and Vietnam meat seizures highlight deepening risk of unsafe food on the table

A flurry of meat seizures across Thailand and Vietnam has raised fears of animal-borne diseases devastating regional livestock populations and unsafe food ending up on consumers’ plates. Driven by rising energy and logistics costs, unscrupulous suppliers have targeted restaurants and wet markets desperate to protect margins by sourcing cheap, unregulated cuts – even those past their expiry date or tainted with disease. On October 21, police in Vietnam’s southern province of Dong Nai dismantled a...
