Northamptonshire-based specialist plastic recycling company, Plastic Expert, has announced the launch of a new service. Alongside their existing services, such as recycling end of life uPVC windows, PP, HDPE & LDPE films, and secure destruction and recycling of business goods, they are now offering a wheelie bin recycling service, dedicated to collection and repurposing end of life wheelie bins.
The new service aims to provide a UK wide collection of bulk loads of end of life wheelie bins, many of which are sitting throughout the country without any practical means of disposal or any meaningful way to use them in their condition. Plastic Expert has set up the infrastructure to collect these wheelie bins for recycling nationwide that allows them to work with waste management companies and local authorities, ensuring that they have a sustainable route for recycling products where previously there was none.
When an individual makes use of Plastic Expert’s wheelie bin recycling service, the bin will be collected, then taken to the processing facility for cutting, shredding, and granulating. The resulting plastic granules can then be processed and the materials used within the UK in order to manufacture new recycling containers & household products. As such, plastic waste can be greatly decreased when disposing of plastic wheelie bins.
The new collection service offers a high-value means of getting rid of plastic wheelie bins when compared to traditional disposal routes. Furthermore, this adds to the already extensive recycling services offered by Plastic Expert, which offers to help reduce waste in recycling all manner of plastic goods and work equipment, including IT devices.
Plastic Expert has been offering sustainable plastic recycling services for businesses nationwide for years, with a focus on diverting plastic and packaging waste from landfills and incineration by providing routes for ethical recycling processes, instead. They work with a wide variety of manufacturers, food companies, retailers, warehouses, as well as a network of waste management companies throughout the country.
