Nuropod offers a replacement charger for its wearable neuromodulation device, giving users who rely on structured daily sessions a dedicated, device-specific option for when an original charger wears out.
Sacramento, United States, November 2, 2026 /PressCable/ -- Nuropod, the US wellness brand of research company Parasym, has announced a replacement charger for its vagus nerve stimulation device, now available online for customers who need a backup unit.
More details on the charger, including pricing and compatibility, are available at https://nuropod.com/products/charger
The announcement reflects the scale of use behind the device, with Nuropod reporting more than 5 million user sessions completed to date. The replacement charger gives customers a device-compatible option to maintain those sessions without interruption when the original charger wears out.
Each Nuropod ships with a charger designed for long-term use. Like a phone charger, it can need replacing after frequent use. The replacement unit is priced at $25, connects through the Nuropod port, and is compatible only with the Nuropod device.
The Nuropod device itself is a non-invasive wearable. Its earpiece clips onto the tragus, the small flap of cartilage at the front of the ear, and delivers gentle, controlled electrical pulses to the auricular branch of the vagus nerve using Parasym’s proprietary AVNT™ waveform. The device is designed to support nervous system function.
Reliable charging matters because the device is designed for consistent daily use. Most people use it for around 30 minutes, once or twice a day, while working, reading, or watching television. No prescription is required, and no gel or lubricants are needed.
Parasym’s AVNT technology has been studied for its potential effects on stress, sleep, focus, and recovery, with more than 60 completed clinical studies, over 100 ongoing clinical studies underway, and over 10 years of research and development behind it. In the US, Nuropod holds an FDA Non-Significant Risk designation and is not a medical device.

North Korea is rapidly advancing its drone warfare capabilities by drawing lessons from the Russia-Ukraine war, even as South Korea’s efforts to keep pace remain bogged down by procurement delays and bureaucratic red tape, observers warn. North Korea on Tuesday slammed the FBI’s allegations that Pyongyang was behind the theft of US$6 billion from cryptocurrency platform Binance, with Kim Jong-un’s powerful sister labelling it a “grave political provocation”. Kim Yo-jong, in a statement released on Tuesday by the KCNA state news agency, said the FBI’s claim was “absurd rhetoric and nothing new”, given earlier US allegations that North Korea was behind last year’s major hack of Bybit. “It is a grave political provocation against...

Japan’s government and ruling coalition are considering nearly doubling defence spending over the next five years as part of Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi’s push to strengthen the country’s military capabilities, according to two people familiar with the matter. If adopted, defence build-up spending for the five years from April 2027 would be set at 70 trillion to 80 trillion yen (US$457 billion to US$508 billion), up about 1.8 times from the roughly 43 trillion yen allocated under the...

Singapore is pitching itself as a bridge between the European Union (EU) and Asean, as the two blocs continue their protracted discussions to seal a free trade agreement (FTA). However, Myanmar’s political uncertainty is a major hurdle towards an EU-Asean FTA, and Singapore will have to play a key role to break the deadlock when it assumes the chairmanship of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations next year, according to an analyst. At a joint press conference with German Chancellor...
Empyrean Technology, China’s top provider of electronic design automation (EDA) tools, plans to acquire a majority stake in a domestic start-up, reinforcing Beijing’s drive for tech self-sufficiency and bolstering support for Huawei Technologies’ semiconductor ambitions.
