ParcelMatch launches with live rates from 9+ UK carriers in one search, a fixed platform fee shown before checkout, and no hidden charges.
LONDON, October 2, 2026 -- ParcelMatch, a new UK parcel comparison and booking platform, launches today with a direct challenge to the delivery industry: show every fee before the customer pays, or expect to lose them.

The platform pulls live prices from Royal Mail, DPD, Evri, Parcelforce, UPS, DHL and more into a single search. Senders enter two postcodes and a parcel size, compare every carrier side by side, and book in one checkout, moving from postcode to printable label in around 30 seconds. Comparing requires no account, and every quote itemises the carrier rate, a small fixed platform fee and VAT before payment.

That transparency, the company says, is the point.
"Anyone who has sent a parcel recently knows the feeling," said Abdul Wajid, founder of ParcelMatch. "You get a price, then a surcharge appears, then a fee you cannot explain. Or you queue at a counter and pay double what the same van journey costs online. We built ParcelMatch on one rule: the price you see is the price you pay, and you see all of it before you pay a penny."
Built for 2026, not 2012
ParcelMatch enters a market where several comparison sites are more than a decade old. The company argues the sector has not kept pace with how people actually send parcels today: from their phones, at odd hours, often as sellers on marketplaces like Vinted and eBay rather than traditional consumers.
The platform launches with a mobile-first checkout, one tracking page covering every carrier, payment by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and UK GDPR-first data handling. Booked parcels can be dropped at more than 100,000 UK drop-off points across carrier networks or collected from the door.
For businesses, ParcelMatch offers accounts with negotiated rate cards, bulk CSV upload for up to 200 parcels at once, a prepay wallet with bonus credit on larger top-ups, per-user team permissions and monthly VAT-itemised statements.
Savings of up to 60% off published rates
By aggregating negotiated rates across carriers, ParcelMatch says senders save up to 60% against published walk-in prices, with the largest gaps on heavier parcels. In one worked example on the platform, a 3kg medium parcel sent next-day costs £7.07 all-in against a published walk-in rate of £11.50 for the same service: a saving of £4.43 on a single parcel.
"Comparison is normal for flights, insurance and energy. Parcels are years behind, and people are paying for that gap every day," added Abdul Wajid. "Nobody should need six tabs and a loyalty habit to send a box across the country at a fair price."
ParcelMatch is live now at https://www.parcelmatch.co.uk. Comparing prices is free and requires no sign-up.

A second attempt to guide a shark stranded in a canal in the South Korean port city of Busan back to the open sea ended without success on Friday, with the animal staying in the waterway into its third week. Rescuers, who had been using a net to try to coax it out, had to end the operation after a two-hour chase due to the risk of their huge net getting caught on rocks. They now hope that the shark will eventually swim out to the open sea on its own, after leaving the net in place to limit how...
