Businesses can now plan card creation, card controls and transaction events through one structured integration, with final availability confirmed by approved issuing partners.
Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX, Texas, United States, November 4, 2026 -- Nadcab Labs, a blockchain and fintech technology company, has launched its Card Issuing API for crypto exchanges, Web3 wallets and fintech platforms. The API helps businesses add virtual and physical card experiences to their existing products through approved issuing and processing partners.
For many platforms, adding cards is the natural next step. Users want to spend what they hold, and businesses want to keep that activity inside their own app. The difficult part is the infrastructure behind it: onboarding, issuance, card controls, spending data and event handling. Nadcab’s Card Issuing API connects these workflows to a platform’s own application through a single integration.

What the API Covers
Instead of building each card workflow from scratch, a business sends a request from its backend and receives a response it can show to the customer. The integration supports card creation, card details and status retrieval, freeze and unfreeze actions, transaction history and webhook events.
The sample below shows what a card creation request looks like. These routes and payloads are illustrative examples, not a production API contract.
json
// POST /v1/cards (request)
{
"customer_id": "cust_8f42…",
"card_type": "virtual",
"program_id": "prog_…",
"idempotency_key": "req_01J…"
}
json
// response
{
"card_id": "card_5d21…",
"status": "pending_issuance",
"card_type": "virtual",
"last4": "•• 4412"
}
The response returns pending_issuance, not active. This is deliberate. The issuing partner makes the final decision, so a card moves from pending to either active or declined. The idempotency key prevents duplicate cards when a request is safely retried, and a timeout should be treated as an unknown outcome, with card status checked before any retry.
From Application to Active Card
The integration follows five stages: customer onboarding, card creation request, issuer and processor handling, card availability, and transaction events and updates. Onboarding comes first. The platform collects the required customer information and completes applicable identity verification under the approved program requirements. A simple version of that logic looks like this:
python
customer = collect_application()
verification = check_status(customer)
if verification == "approved":
enable_card_creation(customer)
Only after verification does the platform submit a card request. Status updates and transaction events then return to the business’s backend through webhooks.
Clear Responsibilities Across Three Layers
Nadcab separates the architecture into three layers so every team knows its role. The first layer is the customer’s own platform, which includes mobile and web apps, the crypto wallet, user accounts and backend services. The second is the Nadcab integration layer, which covers the API gateway, card management orchestration, event handling, webhook delivery, operational reporting and integration monitoring. The third is the group of approved partners: the issuing partner, card processor, applicable verification providers, and settlement and program services.
Final architecture and responsibilities depend on the selected issuing partner and the commercial program arrangement.
Virtual and Physical Card Programs
Virtual cards give eligible users in-app access to card status, spending visibility, supported freeze controls and transaction history. Physical card programs, where supported, can include ordering, card artwork, delivery tracking, activation workflows and replacement controls.
Businesses can explore program options across Visa, Mastercard, Discover and UnionPay. Network availability, supported regions and card capabilities depend on the approved program structure, and they are verified with the issuing partner before any commitment.
Built With Security and Testing in Mind
Card programs handle sensitive customer data, so the integration is designed around clear access boundaries. Requests are signed and authenticated by the business’s backend, and credentials stay server-side rather than inside the app. Payment credentials are minimized and handled through approved tokenization and secure card-data mechanisms.
For webhooks, platforms should verify authenticity before trusting a payload, store event IDs so duplicates are dropped safely, and return a fast 2xx response while processing runs asynchronously. Sandbox environments let teams test card creation, lifecycle updates, transaction handling, error scenarios and webhook processing before going live.
Transparent About Availability
Nadcab labels capabilities conservatively. Customer onboarding, card creation, physical card workflows, operational reporting and role-based administration are program or issuer dependent. Card status retrieval, virtual card management, transaction history and cardholder management are supported where enabled. Webhook notifications and funding workflow integration require confirmation. Final capability depends on the issuing partner and the program configuration confirmed for each business.
Who It Is Built For
The API is designed for businesses adding cards to existing products. Crypto exchanges can connect balances to funding workflows, card accounts and spending activity, subject to supported funding and conversion arrangements. Web3 wallets can offer users supported card access with integrated management and transaction visibility. Fintech platforms can add card issuing to a broader financial application while keeping a consistent customer experience.
Aman Vaths of Nadcab Labs says, Businesses adding cards often underestimate how many moving parts sit behind a single card. Our goal with this API is to give teams a clear, honest picture of what is supported, what depends on the issuer, and how to build it safely. We would rather set accurate expectations at the start than overpromise.”
Plan Your Integration
Businesses can request API access or speak with an integration specialist. The first technical review covers application architecture and backend readiness, card products (virtual, physical or both), target countries and indicative volumes, funding and conversion requirements, the API operations and webhook events needed, and issuing-partner fit.
Nadcab Labs also offers related solutions, including crypto card programs, white label crypto cards, custom branded cards, virtual and physical cards, a crypto payment gateway and a crypto gift card API.

A massive power outage at the Woodlands checkpoint in Singapore caused a heavy traffic jam on most major roads leading to the Malaysian checkpoint in Johor Bahru on Wednesday. Although all counters were operating at optimum level at the Bangunan Sultan Iskandar Customs, Immigration and Quarantine complex in the southern state of Johor, the jam lasted for many hours due to a build-up of vehicles from the Singapore side. It is learnt that the issue started at about noon on the Singapore side. A...
Commentators abroad wondered what President Trump’s electoral losses might mean for oil prices, the war on Iran and the future of American politics.
The Democratic Party’s sweeping midterm election victory and takeover of both houses of Congress could slow down the pace of artificial intelligence development in the US, with implications for both the global AI trade and the technology rivalry between Washington and Beijing, analysts said. The assessment comes as concerns about AI and the data centres that power it proved to be a contributing factor in the backlash against the Republican Party and US President Donald Trump, a vocal supporter...
The refund is small – 10 Singapore cents (8 US cents) per bottle – for each return under Singapore’s Beverage Container Return Scheme (BCRS). But the uproar is big. Since BCRS reverse vending machines became fully operational on October 1, Singapore’s social media has been flooded with videos and posts criticising people for raiding bins and holding up others by returning containers by the bag-load. A recent controversy was sparked by a post on October 28 showing two town council workers...
India’s ambitious plans to construct high-speed railways, metro networks and strategic roads through the Himalayas could be hampered by China’s proposed restrictions on tunnel-boring machines, exposing a dependence on foreign technology that New Delhi may find difficult to overcome. Experts say while the curbs are unlikely to halt construction, they could slow major projects and have intensified calls for India to develop its own advanced tunnelling equipment. The restrictions also threaten to...
Philippine police said on Wednesday that three memory cards and a mobile phone turned over by the son of Meghan Markle’s estranged father contained child sexual abuse material. Last week, Philippine police said they were investigating a laptop found alongside images of child abuse at an alleged former residence of Thomas Markle, whose daughter is married to Britain’s Prince Harry. Philippine interior minister Jonvic Remulla said at the time the country planned to take “appropriate legal actions”...
Singapore’s parliament on Wednesday passed tougher penalties against companies responsible for forest fires in Indonesia, including curbs on related business dealings, as the city state doubles down on enforcement following one of its worst haze episodes in more than a decade. The amended Transboundary Pollution Haze Act will see penalties on such companies increase tenfold to a maximum fine of S$1 million (US$780,000) a day, capped at a total of S$20 million. The Act has been invoked twice...
DeepSeek is committed to open-source artificial intelligence to accelerate the arrival of artificial general intelligence (AGI), even if it heightens safety risks, a company engineer says, defying growing safety concerns from the US and scrutiny in China over whether the strategy poses national security risks. Speaking on Tuesday on an AI panel at the World Internet Conference (WIC) in Wuzhen, DeepSeek engineer Gao Xi said open-source development promoted shared innovations and technical...
A senior Indonesian diplomat said on Wednesday that dialogue “must not stop” among Asean members, amid a diplomatic row between Jakarta and Singapore over transboundary haze. Ties between the Southeast Asian neighbours have been tense after wildfires in Indonesia blanketed the city state in toxic smog for months. Complaints from Singapore over the air quality were met with sharp rebukes from Indonesian officials. Despite a visit to Jakarta by Singapore’s Foreign Affairs Minister Vivian...
Lawyers for Malaysia’s jailed former prime minister Najib Razak on Wednesday dismissed speculation about his imminent transfer to house arrest, as his former ruling party struggles to raise the 50 million ringgit (US$12.3 million) fine needed to bring him home. The rumours came as Najib’s United Malays National Organisation (Umno) seeks to build on recent electoral victories, with analysts saying his return to house arrest could give the party a boost among supporters ahead of the next general...
Indonesia has called on Russia to stop recruiting its citizens to fight in Ukraine, but the appeal may prove ineffective unless President Prabowo Subianto directly pressures his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on the issue, analysts have said. On Sunday, Indonesia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokeswoman Yvonne Mewengkang said: “The Indonesian government asked the Russian government to take all necessary steps to ensure that no Indonesians will be recruited into the Russian military or any...
An Indonesian military helicopter carrying eight people on a firefighting mission crashed in waters off Borneo island on Wednesday, killing a crew member, the army said. The Southeast Asian archipelago has for months been struggling to control wildfires that have burned through large swathes of Sumatra, Borneo and Papua islands, causing choking haze that drifted to neighbouring Malaysia, East Timor and Singapore. The helicopter took off on Wednesday morning from Seruyan district in Borneo’s...
