The first seven in a series of fifteen books Flores has authored are now available. The books were written with the aim in mind to be a simple, straightforward approach for parents to raise their children to be happy, confident, and fulfilled, so that they grow to have balance in their lives and confidence in their ability to make good choices.
There’s also particular excitement about this launch because it’s not usual for parent’s to get child raising guidance from ancient philosophers.
Zuko and Allie Puff book series sets its main focus on being unique books that are designed to encourage adults and children to interact and engage in conversations on virtues, social and environment issues, science, and geography.
Mission location maps and an updated version of Aristotle’s virtues add levels of learning to each mission book.
Readers will likely find a particular interest in the mission maps and virtue badges, included in the books.
After successfully running a training business for 20 years, children’s author Tonya Flores is delighted to now have time for pursuing her lifelong dream involving early childhood development.
Tonya has created her brand philosophy based on Aristotle’s virtues, who believed that everyone should strive to be the best versions of themselves. Which is what every parent wants for their kids.
The eight virtues, adapted for children, helped shaped the creation of the book series.
When asked about why she wrote the book, Flores said: “I developed The Super Puppies brand of books and resources to be the books I wished were available to share with my own kids when they were young: a series of books that spark a child’s desire for a life full of learning, adventure, social and environmental awareness, and kindness.”
Flores has hopes that the books will be a straightforward, easy way to incorporate learning about Courage, Truthfulness, Confidence, Wit, Ambition, Friendship, Patience, Generosity, and Kindness into everyday play and learning, that helps even young children start thinking about important issues.
This positive outlook from the author is certainly testament to their optimism considering some of the mishaps during its creation.
In a recent interview, the author made a point of thanking her family for all their support while she’s undertaken this project for their part in the creation of the book, saying: “I couldn’t have done it without them!”
