Prior to his current endeavors, Dr. Arenas served as Division Chief of Transplant Surgery at Penn State (January 2022 - December 2022), as Chief of the Memorial Transplant Institute with Memorial Healthcare System (September 2016 - January 2022), and as Division Chief of Transplant Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center (January 2007 - August 2016).
Organ transplantation is a medical procedure in which an organ is removed from one body and placed in the body of a recipient, to replace a damaged or missing organ.
