Islamic International Funeral Services will transport your loved one to either one of Islamic International Funeral Services’ facilities or to your local Masjid. Female removals are done by female attendants only. After this is done, Islamic International Funeral Services will religiously wash and then shroud your loved one. Again, females are washed by female attendants only. This ritual cleansing is known as the ghusl. The body is wrapped in a simple linen cloth known as the kafan.
After the washing and shrouding are finished, Islamic International Funeral Services will provide a wooden casket or any casket of the family’s choice. Islamic International Funeral Services will then transport the deceased to the Masjid of the family’s choosing for a funeral service. After the funeral services are concluded, Islamic Funeral Services will transport the deceased to a cemetery. Islamic law forbids the cremation of a Muslim. Another funeral rite includes the Salat al-Janazah. This is a funeral prayer done by the congregation to ask forgiveness for the deceased.
The experienced funeral directors at Islamic International Funeral Services will guide families through the aspects of the funeral service with compassion, dignity, and respect. The staff of dedicated professionals is available to assist families in making funeral service arrangements.
