How Much Do Wedding Packages Cost in Dubai

Dec 2, 2020

Amman, Dec 2, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Arabia Weddings, the leading online wedding planning platform in the Middle East, created a new section on its platform to aggregate Wedding Packages from venues in the UAE to help couples easily find out how much wedding packages cost and to book their wedding venues with a click of a button.

Most wedding venues in Dubai and the rest of the United Arab Emirates have standard wedding packages to offer potential clients. Venues normally charge a flat rate per person, and present their services in bundles referred to as a Wedding Package. Typically, venues offer 2 or 3 different wedding packages giving couples the option to select from a basic wedding package to a more enhanced and upgraded package.

The cost per person of a wedding package in Dubai varies from AED 100 (or even less) per person, offered by smaller 3-star hotels and wedding halls, to AED 500 and above per person, offered by luxury 5-star hotels and resorts. (1 AED = 0.27 USD)

Rates also vary from season to season; higher rates prevail during the high wedding seasons in Dubai, which is normally from October till April, and lower rates between May and September. Some hotels also offer lower rates on weekdays as opposed to weekends, or waive some of the terms and conditions, such as minimum number of guests on weekdays.

Wedding packages offered by 5-star properties may include these benefits: a buffet/set menu; a three-tiered wedding cake; complimentary pre-event tasting of selected menu; soft beverages; a range of table and chair linen; a selection of elegant chinaware; fresh flower table centrepieces; red carpet arrival experience; complimentary dance floor and stage setup; a dedicated wedding concierge; complimentary 1-night stay for the bride and groom; and complimentary parking service for all guests.

The new section on Wedding Packages launched by Arabia Weddings covers the UAE at the moment and aims to cover most countries in the Gulf region by the first quarter of 2021. To view some of the curated wedding packages in Dubai click here: https://www.arabiaweddings.com/deals/dubai.

What’s in a name? What China and Trump call AI reveals how they see its future

US President Donald Trump wants to banish the word “artificial” from artificial intelligence, saying it makes one of the world’s most consequential technologies sound “fake”. Across the Pacific, however, China’s name for the technology has long carried a different connotation – one that places humans, rather than artificiality, at its centre. Trump last week signed an executive order directing US federal agencies to replace “artificial intelligence”, or AI, with “Super Intelligence”, or SI, in...

The leaders pledged on Sunday to continue their campaign against the election commissioner, hours after they were released. Thousands of protesters were detained before Saturday’s planned demonstration in New Delhi, according to the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), which called on supporters to keep...

Unsung turtle conservation heroes in Malaysia’s Sabah unite to fight poachers

Roziah Jelali has a tip or two on catching a turtle poacher: carrying a pair of binoculars and having patience in spades are key to doing the job well. The 36-year-old Malaysian volunteer ranger once spent three months in Sabah tracking a man whom she suspected of illegally capturing protected turtles. Once thriving off the azure seas of Omadal Island in the Malaysian state, many turtles had been hunted down, killed and sold for their meat, according to conservation experts. Recounting the 2023...

Denuclearising North Korea would ‘defy history’ as US, allies missed the boat

The denuclearisation of North Korea has become an “increasingly improbable” goal and the United States and its allies should move beyond it to devote their diplomatic efforts to talks on arms limitations and crisis communication, the director of the US-based North Korean analysis website 38 North said. Recalling the 20 years since North Korea carried out its first nuclear test on October 9, 2006, Jenny Town said in a written interview that “a pivotal moment” in Pyongyang’s weapons development...

Could Thai durian export duty mean higher prices, higher quality in China?

A Thai government proposal to charge export duties on durians, a major cash crop, could raise prices for the fruit in China – its primary market – along with the quality, analysts said. Thailand’s draft bill to establish a fund for research and “sustainable” development of the durian sector would include the collection of fees, the government’s public relations department said last month. Southeast Asian media outlets and agricultural publications have tipped the export duty to be as high as 2...
