New York City, New York Jul 5, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - Dr. Sanchez-Navarro is a renowned plastic surgeon working alongside Dr. J.D. Stuart, MD, at Plastic Surgical Specialists in Tucson, Arizona.

Specializing in all aspects of plastic surgery, the doctor-duo serves a vast variety of patients looking to gain self-confidence and well-being from feeling as good as they look. From face lifts to breast lifts and augmentation, their focus is on the complete satisfaction of every single one of their patients.

With his sincere personality and compassionate bedside manner, Dr. Sanchez-Navarro integrates himself into the entire surgical process as he guides his patients through their cosmetic journey. Having spent six years training in the field of plastic surgery, he learned the value of focusing on detail in order to deliver excellence. To achieve this level of quality, he listens closely to the patient's goals and needs in order to construct a detailed treatment plan tailored to each patient. He believes that cosmetic surgery is a work of art, and superior artistic results are achieved when the final outcome looks natural and sophisticated.

Born and raised in his beloved Tucson, Dr. Sanchez-Navarro graduated from Salpointe Catholic High School and then attended Pepperdine University in California. At Pepperdine, he participated in multiple research projects in the Department of Biology before graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

Thereafter, Dr. Sanchez-Navarro received his medical degree from the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine, a highly ranked program and prominent medical school, scoring in the 99th percentile on national medical school exams. He subsequently completed a very competitive and rigorous six-year program in plastic surgery, training under accomplished plastic surgeons at Wright State University. This specialized education encompassed advanced aesthetic treatments and cosmetic surgery of the entire body.

Part of Dr. Sanchez-Navarro's background training included neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, orthopedic surgery, and oral facial surgery. Becoming intimately familiar with all aspects of human anatomy, his training has given him the skills to treat patients who present with head-to-toe cosmetic concerns. This allows him to aesthetically synchronize and harmonize with the whole body.

Because of his academic and professional accomplishments, Dr. Sanchez-Navarro was honored with the respected title of Chief Resident of Plastic Surgery in his final year at Wright State University. He has also received many academic achievement awards, as well as notable scholarships from the National Aesthetic Surgery Society.

Throughout his schooling, Dr. Sanchez-Navarro has been a vital part of several research projects that have gone on to be published in national journals such as Orthopedics. He has had the distinct pleasure of presenting his findings on recent advances and issues in plastic surgery at the Ohio Valley Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has also presented research findings at the University of Iowa and Pepperdine University.

Driven to help patients attain their desired transformation, the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, which is the only specialty recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties to provide all aspects of cosmetic surgery.

Before moving back to Tucson, Dr. Sanchez-Navarro had a successful cosmetic surgery practice in Denver, Colorado. Within three years of practicing there, he was considered one of the foremost surgeons in the community and received the award of Top Doctor.

Despite the popular practice in Denver, Dr. Sanchez-Navarro always knew he would return to Tucson when he started a family. After marrying the love of his life and having a child, he decided the time was right to open another successful cosmetic practice in Tucson.

"It is here that you will discover how to renew and restore yourself to the place that you want to be. My goal is to make my patients excited about the way they look, and more importantly, the way they feel."

Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body. It can be divided into two main categories - reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery. A plastic surgeon's primary responsibility is performing surgical and non-surgical procedures, and they use a variety of reparative and reconstructive techniques to get the job done.

Due to his passion for plastic surgery, Dr. Sanchez-Navarro has served the world community by operating on children with various birth defects in Mexico and remote areas of Argentina, where his fluency in Spanish was vital for proper patient care.

What’s in a name? What China and Trump call AI reveals how they see its future

US President Donald Trump wants to banish the word “artificial” from artificial intelligence, saying it makes one of the world’s most consequential technologies sound “fake”. Across the Pacific, however, China’s name for the technology has long carried a different connotation – one that places humans, rather than artificiality, at its centre. Trump last week signed an executive order directing US federal agencies to replace “artificial intelligence”, or AI, with “Super Intelligence”, or SI, in...

Unsung turtle conservation heroes in Malaysia’s Sabah unite to fight poachers

Roziah Jelali has a tip or two on catching a turtle poacher: carrying a pair of binoculars and having patience in spades are key to doing the job well. The 36-year-old Malaysian volunteer ranger once spent three months in Sabah tracking a man whom she suspected of illegally capturing protected turtles. Once thriving off the azure seas of Omadal Island in the Malaysian state, many turtles had been hunted down, killed and sold for their meat, according to conservation experts. Recounting the 2023...

Denuclearising North Korea would ‘defy history’ as US, allies missed the boat

The denuclearisation of North Korea has become an “increasingly improbable” goal and the United States and its allies should move beyond it to devote their diplomatic efforts to talks on arms limitations and crisis communication, the director of the US-based North Korean analysis website 38 North said. Recalling the 20 years since North Korea carried out its first nuclear test on October 9, 2006, Jenny Town said in a written interview that “a pivotal moment” in Pyongyang’s weapons development...

Could Thai durian export duty mean higher prices, higher quality in China?

A Thai government proposal to charge export duties on durians, a major cash crop, could raise prices for the fruit in China – its primary market – along with the quality, analysts said. Thailand’s draft bill to establish a fund for research and “sustainable” development of the durian sector would include the collection of fees, the government’s public relations department said last month. Southeast Asian media outlets and agricultural publications have tipped the export duty to be as high as 2...
