William Hammes currently lives in Thousand Oaks, California, with his wife, Laila, and their daughter, Emma. Before becoming an author, William built a successful career in construction and architecture, developing a reputation for creativity, craftsmanship, and expertise in complex building projects.
His professional experience includes working on notable architectural projects throughout California, including the Bob Hope residence in Palm Springs, designed by renowned architect John Lautner, as well as additional projects connected to Lautner's work. William also contributed to the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust in Pan Pacific Park, California, a unique underground concrete structure designed by Hagy Belzberg.
