Fitness Trainers in Westmont IL Say “Muscle Success” is The Most Productive Time. Many exercise practitioners over the years have shown that carrying sets of strength training repetitions to the point of “muscle success” is the best way to achieve meaningful gains from working out.

The experiences of fitness trainers and exercise practitioners over many years have shown that carrying every set of strength training repetitions to the point of “muscle success” is the best way to achieve meaningful gains from working out. This means increasing the effort level when an exercise gets the hardest and most challenging right at the end, which is the period during a set of exercise repetitions that’s the most productive.

Muscle success is the point at which, after several repetitions, the muscles become so fatigued that completing another repetition cannot be done. When trying to make the weight move, it’s momentarily impossible to do so. If a person continues to push or pull for several more seconds to make sure they’re really at the point of muscle success, they will have achieved deep momentary fatigue in the targeted muscles, thus sending a strong signal to the body that it needs to get stronger, improve muscle tone, and boost metabolism. Within certain limits, the deeper a person briefly fatigues the muscles, the greater the changes they will see in their body.

In slow-motion strength training, fatiguing all the way to muscle success on every set of each workout produces excellent results, and the amount of time required for exercising this way can be as little as one hour per week.

Dramatic results can be achieved when the muscles are made to work harder. The higher level of intensity involved in pushing harder at the end of each fitness training exercise creates greater improvements in the body than does lower intensity exercise. And because greater effort and intensity are required when muscle success is practiced, only brief sessions are needed.

It’s a lot easier to end each set of repetitions before muscle success is reached and do a longer workout. However, “gutting it out” and taking each set performed to a deep level of muscular fatigue makes workouts much more productive.

Taking a set of repetitions to the muscle success point is uncomfortable while it’s being done, as the muscles often vibrate and burn. But it’s the best technique for getting optimal results from a strength training program. The benefits are the outcomes obtained over time in terms of stronger muscles, enhanced cardiovascular efficiency, a faster metabolism, stronger bones, and increased body-shaping lean muscle tissue.

Many people have great difficulty pushing themselves to work hard enough to achieve muscle success as described above. If pressing every exercise set to the muscle success point is more challenging than desired, it’s important to at least make sure to fatigue the muscles as deeply as possible on each set. The more deeply the muscles are fatigued, the more effective the stimulus is, and the more significant adaptations will be required of the body.

Thus, when repetitions begin to get challenging, a person should cultivate a mindset of looking forward to the burning and shaking sensations. At this point a strength training workout begins to get really productive.

Southeast Asia’s EV boom sidelines local car parts suppliers

Southeast Asia’s electric vehicle boom risks leaving the region’s smaller companies behind, as Chinese automotive giants bypass local part-makers in favour of imported components and locked-in supplier networks. Local manufacturers across Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia are facing a double squeeze: demand is weakening for parts used in petrol and diesel cars, collectively known as internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, while steep barriers to entry also keep them out of EV supply...

FBI blames North Korea for stolen billions from Binance in biggest hack in history

The theft of billions of dollars from Binance within a matter of minutes, the biggest cryptocurrency heist in history, was orchestrated by North Korean hackers, the FBI said on Saturday. The bureau said in a statement that this week’s attack was tied to “malicious cyber activity” by an entity known as TraderTraitor, the same actors behind a US$1.5 billion Bybit hack last year. The FBI asked cryptocurrency exchanges, blockchain analytics companies and others to block transactions linked to...

SI is the future of AI – just not in the way Trump thinks

With US President Donald Trump recently pushing the use of “superintelligence” (SI) instead of artificial intelligence (AI) in national discourse, the acronym has gained unprecedented attention. It is the right acronym but the wrong meaning. In my opinion, SI should stand for “self-intelligence”. It probably explains why academics, critics and even major AI companies are calling for a temporary pause in AI development. They must have realised the technology’s current trajectory is headed down...

200 nations at Cop17 commit to biodiversity goals amid missed opportunities

Nearly 200 nations have struck hard-fought agreements at a UN biodiversity summit, but the outcome was accompanied by disappointment over missed opportunities to address humanity’s destructive toll on nature. Delegates cheered on Friday as crucial texts were approved in overtime but the celebrations were tempered by acrimonious debates and regret over limited progress on some of the most contentious issues. The Cop17 summit in Armenia sought to revive a landmark commitment to halt and reverse...

Both Japan and China can help Bangladesh reach its full potential

In the Land of the Rising Sun, Bangladesh looks forward to a new dawn. The hope that comes with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s visit to Japan goes beyond the deals signed or the financial support expected. It shows a country that has emerged from authoritarian rule and wants to turn its new political voice into bigger economic chances and freedom of choice. For a government chosen by the people, foreign policy must answer one question: how does it make life better for the people who gave it...

Can battery swapping and energy storage power CATL’s next phase of growth?

Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd (CATL) has doubled down on new businesses including battery swapping and energy storage as the world’s largest battery maker seeks new growth drivers amid intensifying price wars and mounting pressure on profitability. But the new path is far from straightforward. Established players like Nio have already built a strong presence in battery swapping, while BYD has reinforced its position in energy-storage systems. China joins global race to reawaken brain-injury patients through ultrasound therapy

After spending three months in a coma following a brain haemorrhage, a patient in China has regained the ability to speak, eat and walk with support – part of an early clinical trial using targeted sound waves to help “wake up” severely damaged brains, according to state media. The technology, developed by a coalition including the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, used focused ultrasound waves to stimulate regions deep within the brain without requiring...

Malaysia’s Melaka poll begins as 79 cleared in test for Anwar’s coalition

Malaysia’s Melaka state began its election campaign on Saturday after 79 candidates were cleared to contest a poll testing whether Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s governing partners can turn an opportunistic alliance with his Islamist opponents into a platform for national power. The coastal state south of Kuala Lumpur heads to the polls on November 14, handing the United Malays National Organisation (Umno) and the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) another opening to deepen cooperation after...
