High-level recognition for its Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) approach joins accolades across Strategic Proposals’ win record.
London, England, United Kingdom - February 7, 2024 —

Proposal management specialist, Strategic Proposals, has added WIBAP EDI’s ‘Team of the Year’, its latest award, to a series of industry excellence successes. The London-based company’s awards campaign is part of an active continuous improvement policy, driving agile strategic thinking and consistent best outcomes for clients.
The EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) recognition was particularly welcome, given the company’s EDI commitment and values.
Strategic Proposals MD, Jon Williams, said:
“Internally, we've been on a huge journey as a business over the past ten years. And externally we've tried our utmost to help contribute to EDI initiatives in the profession - conducting the research that led to WIBAP being formed; initiating the programme that created the UK bid & proposal apprenticeship scheme; creating our bursary scheme to help with training and exam fees for those less advantaged; putting wellbeing at the centre of events such as "Rising Stars".
Those efforts have been on-going over the past year. It's lovely to be recognised. More importantly, it's lovely that some of the things we've done have made a positive difference.”
The Strategic Proposals senior bid and proposals’ managers, trainers, writers and creative design experts continue to gain recognition, and the latest award comes on the back of further success across EDI, for Research Director Kat Wyon (WIBAP ‘Choice Award’), with colleague Mairi Morrison, Senior Proposal Manager, shortlisted for EDI campaigner.
The EDI awards join Strategic Proposals Loopio Partner Awards ‘Mastery Award;’ APMP Contribution to the Profession Award for Director Graham Ablett – for contribuition to the develoment of the bid and proposal profession – and a Stevie Gold Award for Best Integration of Thought Leadership into the Sales Process, a win against international field – with more than 2,300 nominations across 49 countries.

Dozens were injured and more than 300 homes were toppled by the 7.0-magnitude quake, which sent residents fleeing into the cold night air, state media said.
The artificial intelligence agent software market across Asia, Australia and New Zealand is set to expand more than 14-fold by 2030, according to research firm Omdia, as Chinese tech companies increasingly deploy automated tools across office and industrial operations. During its annual event in Beijing on Thursday, Omdia forecast that regional market revenue, which included mainland China and Hong Kong, would reach US$11.2 billion in 2030, up from an estimated US$782 million this year. Australia said on Friday it had sanctioned two North Korean individuals and companies over the use of “fraudulent” IT workers and cybercrime to earn cash for the isolated nuclear-armed state. The two men are alleged to be key operators in Pyongyang’s cybercriminal activities overseas, estimated by analysts to bring in billions for the country’s weapons programme. “The North Korean entities and individuals sanctioned today facilitate North Korea’s use of fraudulent IT workers to raise revenue for...
The son of Myanmar’s Aung San Suu Kyi said she sounded “fairly healthy” after speaking to the detained ex-democratic leader on Thursday for the first time in more than five years. Suu Kyi, 81, is under house arrest in the capital, Naypyidaw, according to Myanmar authorities, where she has been sequestered since being unseated in a 2021 military coup. “She was sounding fairly healthy,” Kim Aris, who lives in the UK, said after the telephone conversation. It was the first time he had spoken to his...

A wind energy partnership between Vietnam and Denmark has fuelled expectations of the Southeast Asian country boosting its competitiveness in renewable electricity to serve overseas and domestic markets. Vietnam is well placed to grow its renewable electricity sector by tapping its large pool of engineering talent and abundant wind resources with help from Denmark, a global leader in wind energy, according to analysts. On Tuesday, the two countries signed a comprehensive strategic partnership...

As inflation weighs on Japanese households, huge arcades on the outskirts of major cities are installing claw machines filled with eggs, rice, laundry detergent and other necessities. The “shop-and-play destinations” merge essential buying with entertainment so that families do not feel a choice between bringing home the...
