NPQH Qualification Enhances Doctoral Studies to Deliver Stronger Consultative Solutions

Washington, D.C, Oct 17, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Dr Jason D Heap--a graduate of The University of Oxford, Sheffield Hallam University, Howard Payne University, and Walden University--earned an NPQH qualification from the United Kingdom's Department of Education. The NPQH, or National Professional Qualification for Headship, adds to Dr Heap's experience and academic training as a school leader. His consultancy is now in its sixth year of global service, and Dr Heap celebrates the work that has been achieved with partners across the United States, and around the world.

The NPQH is designed to develop a school leader's knowledge and skills across six distinct areas, which enables an effective school Head to be able to know and be able to perform. Additionally, seven distinct leadership behaviours and competencies are crafted and nurtured, ensuring that effective school leaders apply these behaviours and competencies on a daily basis. The content areas focused on strategy and improvement; demonstrating a positive impact within leadership; the ability to guide and improve teaching, learning and curriculum; developing partnerships for a school; effective use and management of all resources; and increasing the capacity of human resources.

Dr Heap reflected on the NPQH qualification, as it further enhances the services he provides. "I am able to provide solutions to schools for continual improvement of local education initiatives, rigorous program evaluation and consistent quality of finance and administration, fundraising, communications, HR processes and internal school systems. With my assistance, we can establish effective timelines and allocate resources to achieve strategic goals for your organisation's Board. Together, we can engage and motivate various stakeholders: volunteers, board members, event committees, partnering organisations and investors. I can help develop, coordinate and implement curriculum plans and internal monitoring procedures for schools. I also can help expand local revenue-generating and fundraising activities to support existing and extracurricular operations. Furthermore, I am skilled at reviewing and analysing performance data, and can provide your organisation with guidance on improvement methods for staff CPD."

Dr Heap concluded, "As a school leader, manager, consultant and scholar, I foster an ethos within schools that is conducive for working in partnerships. Lifelong learning itself is about progression and partnership. I use my experiences to ensure that a common message is sent out to all members of the community that surround schools: that learning is life long, enjoyable and fun, a personal investment, and a worthwhile social activity. I want to help create a shift in demand for and a new confidence in education."

Z.ai’s GLM-5.3 raises researcher fears the Chinese model can fake AI safety tests

Chinese artificial intelligence lab Z.ai’s latest flagship model, GLM-5.3, may be sophisticated enough to “fake” its way through safety tests, according to a new report published Thursday, sparking new fears about the ability of artificial intelligence systems to shape their own development. The model, launched in August, showed an ability to consider how its behaviour during safety evaluations might influence how future versions of itself would be trained, according to AI safety organisation...

As Negeri Sembilan royal crisis persists, Malaysian rulers, government urged to step in

Negeri Sembilan’s royal house has been locked in a bitter deadlock since April over whether incumbent Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir or his proposed replacement, Tunku Nadzaruddin Tuanku Ja’afar, is the rightful ruler. The feud has taken down a state...

Seoul to maintain Ukraine aid despite spat over North Korea prisoner transfer

The official said Seoul would treat its help to Ukraine separately from the dispute, while continuing bilateral consultations to resolve outstanding issues. The remarks came after South Korean Ambassador to Ukraine Park Ki-chang was...

Inside Nepal’s unending cycle of avalanches, floods and landslides

Nepal has weathered three disasters in six weeks, including the deadly August flash flood, making this year one of the deadliest in a country where monsoon rains already frequently wreak havoc. Experts warn that climate change is only making matters worse. The rock-ice avalanche near the Nepal-Tibet border that opened the floodgates in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers on August 26 killed more than 1,450 people, with nearly 6,000 others still missing. It was followed by a massive landslide...
