College Planning Experts, which works to simplify the college admissions process, can now assist California college students in finding and applying for financial aid.

According to Education Data Initiative, college costs in the US have more than doubled in the 21st century – with an annual growth rate of 6.8%. The country is currently experiencing a student loan debt crisis – with 63% of bachelor’s degree holders owing $31,790 on average. As such, College Planning Experts announced a new service that can help California students lower sometimes prohibiting costs of a college education.

The new service includes strategic funding consulting and application. College Planning Experts can help applicants avoid common mistakes when filing their financial aid forms. It can calculate the student’s expected family contribution (EFC), submit their FASFA and CSS profile with audit-proof documentation, make sure the applicant’s income and assets are not overstated, and update the documentation to reflect the correct data.

As part of the scholarship consulting service, the company also provides individualized financial aid coaching. Students can get advice on becoming a top contender for some of the most well-known awards. The team will find both public and private funding opportunities, and advise the applicant on how to maximize their chances of approval.

The goal of the new service is to determine the most effective financial aid options based on the student’s circumstances, therefore protecting retirement plans and avoiding high payments.

About College Planning Experts

Founded in 2004, the company provides a range of workshops and consulting services to help students apply and get accepted to college while minimizing their expenses. To that end, it offers career assessments, admissions guidance, and strategic college funding planning.

A spokesperson said, “What it comes down to is this: we help families realize their dream of having a child get accepted to his/her dream school and having that child graduate from college, on time and with the least amount of debt possible.”

Why the Philippines remains a hotspot for transnational drug syndicates

Transnational drug syndicates in the Philippines continue to thrive despite decades of crackdowns targeting street-level dealers, with analysts warning that regional suppliers, financiers and trafficking networks have largely eluded enforcement efforts. Former drug officials and security analysts say the country’s drug trade remains closely connected to a wider regional supply chain, with criminal groups relying on local partners, maritime routes and established distribution networks to move...

AI, fuelled by advanced chips, set to power semiconductor manufacturing: industry veteran

Artificial intelligence is no longer merely the driving force behind global semiconductor demand, but is also actively reinventing how chips are designed and built, industry leaders and scientists said at a major science forum in Shanghai on Friday. Chen Yunji, co-founder of AI chipmaker Cambricon Technologies, predicted that the integration between AI and chip design would eventually automate the chip design process entirely. “In the [next] 10 years, the most important development … is the RSI...
