"In a Dark Heart We Trust" - Worldwide Release both Digital & Hard Copies (Vinyl -Limited number)

Stockholm, Sweden May 13, 2022 (Issuewire.com) -
"IN A DARK HEART WE TRUST " will be released on June 3rd, 2022 on Xing Record Label.  The second Story Metal album "In A Dark Heart We Trust" from Pressure is about the ordinary relationships that we all have to live with, endure and cherish throughout all of our existence. Every relationship can be hard to handle but it also can be almost perfect happiness!  We all long for love that is unconditional, a state of being all our own.  We strive to understand who we are, the face behind the masquerade we've always shown.  We long to be ourselves but being wanted is a stronger drug.  We pretend in order to be liked, tucked into our façade so snug.  There comes a time we must awaken and shake off the dust.  It's time we listened to our spirit, IN A DARK HEART WE TRUST.  Contrary to the inscription in the American currency.  A dark heart devours the spirit all the time, even unconsciously.  In truth, divinity does not play a role in one's actualization.  But the pureness or inherent evilness of the actual creation.  So, pick your poison: Eternal damnation or a lifetime of insufficiency?  Will you pray to Lucifer or be the prey?  I am the first one to accept that relationship is like a bed of roses. Beauty and pain are all the same!

Who is Pressure I hear you ask? Well, if you had to tag them with a genre the one that fits best is 'melodic rock but they are so much more than that. Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden and with vocalists Olof Jönsson and Olli violet you can always guarantee soaring athletic and committed vocals.  Together with a twin guitar sound coming from songwriter and lead guitarist Simon "Siirpo" Forsell and Emil Salling. Pressures work often focuses on and embrace the pressures felt from everyday existence. Their lyrics always demonstrate that there are two sides to every story - the good and the bad. Every song has a double meaning, and they truly see music as a tool to handle the different pressures thrown at us from the modern world.  The band began their journey together in 2018, and since then they've worked tirelessly developing their sound and live performance, their aim is? To make memories with their fans and to an epic musical soundtrack.  A quote that can summarize their lyrics is: "How can you tell a story about life if you haven't dared to live life to its fullest?

"Pressure is all about every story, every moment, every Pressure!

The flaw in Australia’s ‘China threat’ thesis

Australia’s preparations for a possible conflict with China reflect “a relatively superficial understanding”, argues prominent economist John Edwards. Europe, Canada, Indonesia, Malaysia and India, he notes, are not preparing for such a conflict. Why should Australia? Edwards, a former senior economic adviser to former Labor prime minister Paul Keating, makes the observation in a Lowy Institute paper released in October and in a newspaper interview. Instead, he sees US-China rivalry as a...

Why the Philippines remains a hotspot for transnational drug syndicates

Transnational drug syndicates in the Philippines continue to thrive despite decades of crackdowns targeting street-level dealers, with analysts warning that regional suppliers, financiers and trafficking networks have largely eluded enforcement efforts. Former drug officials and security analysts say the country’s drug trade remains closely connected to a wider regional supply chain, with criminal groups relying on local partners, maritime routes and established distribution networks to move...

AI, fuelled by advanced chips, set to power semiconductor manufacturing: industry veteran

Artificial intelligence is no longer merely the driving force behind global semiconductor demand, but is also actively reinventing how chips are designed and built, industry leaders and scientists said at a major science forum in Shanghai on Friday. Chen Yunji, co-founder of AI chipmaker Cambricon Technologies, predicted that the integration between AI and chip design would eventually automate the chip design process entirely. “In the [next] 10 years, the most important development … is the RSI...

In recent weeks, Indian opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has frequently taken to the streets – joining protest marches, staging sit-ins at police stations and confronting authorities over alleged abuses of power and corruption.
