Alabama Attorneys Explain Usefulness Of Alabama Ask A Lawyer Facebook Page

Dec 13, 2019

December 13, 2019 - /PressAdvantage/ - The Nomberg Law Firm, a Birmingham, Alabama based law firm, is reaching out to the wider community to explain the usefulness of the, “Alabama Ask A Lawyer,” Facebook page. The Facebook page was created by a number of Alabama attorneys who are dedicated to providing the residents of Birmingham and the surrounding areas with legal help.

Attorneys on the, “Alabama Ask A Lawyer,” Facebook page say that the forum is an excellent way for people to easily find answers to legal questions that they might have. The attorneys say that the page is also meant to serve as a way to extend access to justice, reaching potential clients, and offering valuable legal consultation on a platform most Americans already use.

To find them, users simply have to go to Facebook, search for, “Alabama Ask A Lawyer,” and then post a question for the group. The Facebook page, which was only created recently, has a number of experienced attorneys who are available to answer questions on a variety of legal concerns, such as workers’ compensation, social security disability, personal injury, civil rights, probate, divorce, criminal defense and other practice areas.

“Most people just want quick answers, and do not know where to go or turn,” says attorney Bernard Nomberg, one of the group’s founding members. “Facebook gives them a place to go and get a sense of direction.”

Across the United States, the online landscape is busy with attorneys offering legal answers on many social media platforms. However, prior to “Alabama Ask A Lawyer,” there had been no such group dedicated to answering the legal questions raised by residents of Alabama. The attorneys on the Facebook page say that one of the problems with using other social media platforms is that people have to register and give up their email address simply to be able to ask a question. However, considering that a large number of Alabama residents already use Facebook, the “Alabama Ask A Lawyer” page provides an easy way for them to join the group and ask their legal questions, free of charge.

“Social media is a tool anyone can use to reach out to legal professionals for answers,” says Daniel Burnick, an attorney who specializes in handling employment issues and cases dealing with social media, “Iit must however, be made clear to all parties that there is no attorney-client relationship until a retainer is signed.”

The attorneys who have created the page hope that this platform will encourage more individuals to reach out to lawyers to get their legal questions answered, and to get any other form of legal help that they may need.

In addition to playing a part in the creation of the “Alabama Ask A Lawyer” Facebook page, Bernad Nomberg has also established himself and his law firm as a reliable source of excellent legal help, as evident by the law firm’s customer reviews. On Google, the firm maintains an excellent score of 4.9 out of 5 stars. In a recent five star review, Tracy Baldwin says, “David Nomberg help my husband Jason with his work comp case. I could not be happier that Jason hired David to represent him. Our family is forever thankful for David’s help. David is very respectful, knowledgeable of the law, and caring. Thank you.”

Meanwhile, in another review, Quinton Perry says, “I would like to say thank you to The Nomberg Law Firm. David Nomberg represented me in my case with worker's comp and David was very professional in his job. He did an excellent job and actually called me to let me know what was going on every week, sometimes twice a day, I never had to call him. I would refer The Nomberg Law Firm to anyone. Thank You!”

Those who want to learn more about The Nomberg Law Firm and the various services they provide, can find more information on the firm’s website. Additionally, the law firm also encourages interested parties to get in touch with Bernard Nomberg directly via email, phone, or the form on their website.

Cruise ship suspends global voyage in Cambodia over fuel prices, hundreds disembark

Hundreds of people permanently living aboard a touring cruise ship were forced to disembark in Cambodia this week after the vessel’s operator said fuel price increases from the Iran war had made operations prohibitively expensive. The Villa Vie Odyssey had been cruising the world for at least ‌755 days as one of only a handful of ships that offered passengers the opportunity to rent or buy long-term or even permanent residences on board. On Tuesday, the ship’s owner, Villa Vie Residences,...

Indonesia weighs tighter ketamine controls amid surge in seizures, abuse cases

Rising ketamine abuse and a series of major drug seizures in Indonesia have fuelled calls for tighter controls on the substance, but a proposed reclassification has raised concerns that tougher penalties could further strain the country’s overcrowded prisons. Last week, Indonesian police and customs officials intercepted the Mongolian-flagged vessel MT Global 168 in the Malacca Strait, seizing 1.16 tonnes of ketamine hydrochloride packed in 58 sacks. National police chief Suyudi Ario Seto said...

Japan’s US$6 billion port plan aims to revive Bangladesh’s bruised economy

Japan’s push to expand industrial and port cooperation with Bangladesh could transform the South Asian country into a regional trade gateway, analysts say, connecting markets in Southeast Asia and the wider Indo-Pacific while diversifying Dhaka’s economic ties. The plan was announced during Bangladeshi Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s official visit to Japan this week. Rahman welcomed Tokyo’s pledge of US$6 billion in investment over the next five years, which could help revive an economy hit by...

China seeks India’s help in defusing border tensions

China said it would seek India’s help to “maintain peace and stability in the border areas” after new stand-offs in a long-disputed region threatened to undermine improved relations. “We hope that India will work with China in the same direction by jointly implementing the common understandings between the two sides,” Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said at a daily media briefing on Monday. China “strictly abides by the relevant agreements”, he said. Guo also said that China...
