Auditions on Sunday 13th December for pre-vocational ballet training for children aged 7+ who love dance, led by former English National Ballet dancer Therese Schweppe.
London, United Kingdom (PRUnderground) October 26th, 2026
Regal Ballet, an RAD-registered ballet school that has taught children across London since 2007, has announced that auditions for its Associate Programme will take place on Sunday 13th December. This pre-vocational course is for talented children who show a natural ability and a love of dance.
The programme runs on Saturday afternoons from 1pm to 3pm at Hampstead Parochial School in NW3. It is open to children aged 7 and over, and places are offered by invitation or by audition. Classes are designed to build the strength, technique, musicality and artistry that young dancers need when auditioning for vocational ballet schools and associate schemes such as the Royal Ballet School Junior Associates and English National Ballet's junior programmes.
Regal Ballet students have gone on to win places at English National Ballet School, the Royal Ballet School Junior Associates, London Studio Centre and Rambert School.
The school was founded by Therese Schweppe, a former professional dancer with English National Ballet who holds RAD and IDTA teaching qualifications. She brings 19 years of experience in dance education to the programme.
"Every year we meet children who light up the moment the music starts," said Therese Schweppe, Founder and Principal of Regal Ballet. "The Associate Programme is there to nurture that spark. We give talented young dancers the extra training, care and guidance they need to take the next step, whether that's a place at a vocational school or simply growing into the most confident dancer they can be."
The programme follows the school's own high standards. Classes are kept small, and every teacher is safeguarding trained and holds an Enhanced DBS check. Associates also perform in the school's annual show at a professional theatre venue.
Auditions will be held on Sunday 13th December. If you would like your child to take part, email [email protected]to ask for a registration form. You can find more information at regalballet.com.

The operation was carried out on October 21 by Indonesia’s National Narcotics Agency (BNN), which raided and shut down a large-scale drug processing and purification facility in Aceh, Indonesia, and arrested 11 people, with help from China’s National Narcotics Control Commission...
Australia’s preparations for a possible conflict with China reflect “a relatively superficial understanding”, argues prominent economist John Edwards. Europe, Canada, Indonesia, Malaysia and India, he notes, are not preparing for such a conflict. Why should Australia? Edwards, a former senior economic adviser to former Labor prime minister Paul Keating, makes the observation in a Lowy Institute paper released in October and in a newspaper interview. Instead, he sees US-China rivalry as a...

Transnational drug syndicates in the Philippines continue to thrive despite decades of crackdowns targeting street-level dealers, with analysts warning that regional suppliers, financiers and trafficking networks have largely eluded enforcement efforts. Former drug officials and security analysts say the country’s drug trade remains closely connected to a wider regional supply chain, with criminal groups relying on local partners, maritime routes and established distribution networks to move...

Artificial intelligence is no longer merely the driving force behind global semiconductor demand, but is also actively reinventing how chips are designed and built, industry leaders and scientists said at a major science forum in Shanghai on Friday.
