Raleigh Professional Dog Walker: Flexible Midday Dog Walking Service Announced

Oct 23, 2026

Peak City Puppy is offering 30-minute dog walks for Raleigh-area pet owners seeking dependable midday care as part of its wider, flexible dog walking service.

Apex, United States, October 23, 2026 /NewsNetwork/ -- Per the recent company announcement, Peak City Puppy is making its 30-minute walking option available from $25 per visit for owners whose dogs need care while they are away during the day. The service is designed around regular midday visits, giving dogs an opportunity for a potty break and exercise between their usual morning and evening routines.

For owners who cannot return home during the workday, arranging that midday visit can become part of the dog’s regular routine. Consequently, Peak City Puppy notes that once families begin depending on those scheduled walks, consistency becomes just as important as the length of the visit itself.

“Pet parents are relying on us to be there when they can’t be,” a Peak City Puppy representative said. “That means the walk needs to happen even when somebody’s normal schedule changes unexpectedly.”

To provide that continuity, each household is assigned one or two primary walkers who become familiar with the dog and its routine. Peak City Puppy also maintains a wider backup team, allowing another trained employee to cover a visit when a regular walker is unavailable because of illness, vacation, or an emergency.

Since owners are typically away while that care takes place, Peak City Puppy also provides a record of each visit through the Time to Pet app. GPS tracking allows clients to follow the walk, while photo updates provide additional confirmation that their dog has been visited and cared for.

Peak City Puppy employs its walkers as W-2 staff, with team members staying with the company for an average of 2.9 years. Employees undergo background screening and are personally trained to follow the company’s Dog Walk Checklist. During walks, staff use standard four- to six-foot leashes rather than retractable models and avoid unnecessary interactions with unfamiliar dogs or people by changing routes, crossing the street, or waiting when needed.

While the 30-minute option is intended to cover the typical midday break, some dogs require more time outside. Peak City Puppy also offers 60-minute walks from $35 to $40 depending on frequency for younger and higher-energy dogs that benefit from a longer outing.

SI is the future of AI – just not in the way Trump thinks

With US President Donald Trump recently pushing the use of “superintelligence” (SI) instead of artificial intelligence (AI) in national discourse, the acronym has gained unprecedented attention. It is the right acronym but the wrong meaning. In my opinion, SI should stand for “self-intelligence”. It probably explains why academics, critics and even major AI companies are calling for a temporary pause in AI development. They must have realised the technology’s current trajectory is headed down...

200 nations at Cop17 commit to biodiversity goals amid missed opportunities

Nearly 200 nations have struck hard-fought agreements at a UN biodiversity summit, but the outcome was accompanied by disappointment over missed opportunities to address humanity’s destructive toll on nature. Delegates cheered on Friday as crucial texts were approved in overtime but the celebrations were tempered by acrimonious debates and regret over limited progress on some of the most contentious issues. The Cop17 summit in Armenia sought to revive a landmark commitment to halt and reverse...

Both Japan and China can help Bangladesh reach its full potential

In the Land of the Rising Sun, Bangladesh looks forward to a new dawn. The hope that comes with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s visit to Japan goes beyond the deals signed or the financial support expected. It shows a country that has emerged from authoritarian rule and wants to turn its new political voice into bigger economic chances and freedom of choice. For a government chosen by the people, foreign policy must answer one question: how does it make life better for the people who gave it...

Can battery swapping and energy storage power CATL’s next phase of growth?

Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd (CATL) has doubled down on new businesses including battery swapping and energy storage as the world’s largest battery maker seeks new growth drivers amid intensifying price wars and mounting pressure on profitability. But the new path is far from straightforward. Established players like Nio have already built a strong presence in battery swapping, while BYD has reinforced its position in energy-storage systems. China joins global race to reawaken brain-injury patients through ultrasound therapy

After spending three months in a coma following a brain haemorrhage, a patient in China has regained the ability to speak, eat and walk with support – part of an early clinical trial using targeted sound waves to help “wake up” severely damaged brains, according to state media. The technology, developed by a coalition including the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, used focused ultrasound waves to stimulate regions deep within the brain without requiring...

Malaysia’s Melaka poll begins as 79 cleared in test for Anwar’s coalition

Malaysia’s Melaka state began its election campaign on Saturday after 79 candidates were cleared to contest a poll testing whether Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s governing partners can turn an opportunistic alliance with his Islamist opponents into a platform for national power. The coastal state south of Kuala Lumpur heads to the polls on November 14, handing the United Malays National Organisation (Umno) and the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) another opening to deepen cooperation after...

The United States, South Korea and Japan reaffirmed their commitment to the “complete denuclearisation” of North Korea on Saturday, as Pyongyang continues to reject disarmament ahead of possible talks with Washington.
