Nuropod has made a standalone replacement earpiece available for its wearable vagus nerve stimulation device, giving users a compatible, personal-use part to continue structured daily sessions without replacing the device.

Sacramento, United States, October 26, 2026 /PressCable/ -- Nuropod has announced that its replacement earpiece, designed for the left ear and compatible only with the Nuropod port, is available to purchase separately for $50 through the company’s online store.
More information can be found at https://nuropod.com/products/earpiece
The move responds to how regularly the device is used. Nuropod reports more than 5 million user sessions, with most people wearing the device for around 30 minutes, once or twice a day. With the standalone replacement earpiece, the company seeks to address the wear that this level of use places on the part, letting users keep their routine without buying a full unit.
The replacement is made for individual use and should not be shared. It carries a six-month warranty, while the Nuropod device itself is covered for 24 months.
Nuropod is a wearable vagus nerve stimulation device that clips onto the tragus, the small flap of cartilage at the front of the ear. From there, it delivers gentle, controlled electrical pulses to the auricular branch of the vagus nerve using the proprietary AVNT™ (Auricular Vagal Neuromodulation Technology) waveform to support the nervous system.
As a non-invasive, FCC-compliant general wellness device, it needs no gel, prescription, or clinic visit, and it can be worn while working, reading, or watching television. More than 1,000 healthcare professionals work with the device, which is used alongside existing care rather than in place of it.
Nuropod’s underlying technology has been studied for effects on the autonomic nervous system, stress, sleep, focus, recovery, and overall nervous-system balance. It is supported by more than 60 completed clinical studies, with over 100 more underway, and has been tested in randomized, placebo-controlled research, making Nuropod the most studied wearable vagus nerve stimulation device.
That research base rests on more than 10 years of development and over $10 million invested in clinical work, carried out with more than 150 research partners. Studies are independently designed, led, and interpreted by outside investigators at partner institutions. Parasym, the research company behind Nuropod, provides the technology.

The number of Malaysians detained overseas for drug-related offences increased to 1,588 as of September this year, according to Deputy Foreign Minister Lukanisman Awang Sauni. Lukanisman said the five countries with the highest numbers of Malaysians detained were Indonesia (381), China (380), Singapore (310), Thailand (102) and Japan (72). He said increasingly sophisticated drug-smuggling methods had contributed to the frequent arrests of Malaysians overseas. “A total of 1,181 Malaysians were...

Judges took away the possibility of parole for an Australian woman, Erin Patterson, and rejected a bid to overturn her conviction over deadly beef Wellington lunch.
Australian mushroom murderer Erin Patterson lost a bid to overturn her convictions and had a harsher sentence imposed on Friday, failing to prove she was wrongfully jailed for killing three people with a poisoned lunch. Patterson was found guilty last year of murdering her husband’s parents and elderly aunt, deliberately lacing their beef Wellington meal with highly toxic death cap mushrooms. The 52-year-old maintained her triple murder convictions were a “miscarriage of justice”, urging the...
While many parents still question whether to give their children access to artificial intelligence, Malaysian tech worker Pravin Ganesan has embraced it to solve a very practical problem: helping his eight-year-old daughter with homework he sometimes struggles to explain. Pravin, 42, taught her a few basic prompts and checked the answers closely, finding that generative AI is particularly good at breaking down difficult concepts into child-friendly terms. “It has helped her learn and understand...
